Research Interests
I am interested in (D)SLAM, Exploration, and Multi-Robot approaches, applied on autonomous robots in the context of Rescue (e.g. Emergency Response), and Security (e.g. Plant Surveillance). Finally, my overall motivation is to build truly autonomous systems, i.e. robots that solve problems within a continuous Perception-Action cycle online and in real-time.
Projects
SENSORHEAD project with the Telerob company, Germany. Development of a mapping solution for the all-terrain robot Telemax.KARIS KARIS project with the AGT Intralogistik Baden-Würtemberg, Germany. Development of a navigation and coordination solution for a team of up to 100 robots solving logistics tasks.
