The preliminary results of the repeated exam of March 20, 2009, are now available.

The inspection of the exam will take place in the week between April 20 and 24, 2009 (by appointment) in office 052-00-030.

Aims of the lecture

The participants should get an overview of the different techniques used in Artificial Intelligence.

Contents of the lecture

This course will introduce basic concepts and techniques used within the field of Artificial Intelligence. Among other topics, we will discuss:
  • Introduction to and history of Artificial Intelligence
  • Agents
  • Problem solving and search
  • Logic and knowledge representation
  • Planning
  • Representation of and reasoning under uncertainty
  • Machine learning

Exam

There will be a written exam after the lecture. Bonus points for the exam can be obtained by working on the exercise sheets and presenting at least one solution in an exercise session.
