Dr. Johannes Löhr
I have left the research group for Foundations of Artificial Intelligence!
About me
Johannes Löhr received his diploma in aerospace at the technical university of Munich in 2011. He gained experience in the guidance navigation and control domain at Astrium-Satellites Germany during his work on magnetically attitude controlled satellites.
He is member of the Research Group on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence headed by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Nebel since April 2011. His current research focus' on control of hybrid systems in the intersection between artificial intelligence and space applications.
Domain Predictive Control
Domain Predictive Control (DPC) is a planning-based method to control hybrid systems. It can handle restrictions in the state space, deal with system transitions like actuator, sensor, or controller switches, and takes care of logical dependencies of the input signal. The framework is similar to model predictive control algorithms, since future states are predicted by the use of planning methods in order to choose suitable control signals that guide hybrid systems into a state that satisfies a goal specification.
